Arrival to the Biodiversity Capital of Peru. Puerto Maldonado - reception at the airport. Our tour starts with a city tour on our bus.
Then we will go to the Capitanía port to embark on the boat through the Madre de Dios River, during the trip we will immerse ourselves in a natural environment where we will observe the ronsoco, alligators, turtles, herons, cormorants and other species of animals.
Arrival at Ecoamazonía Lodge, an exquisite welcome drink, installation in our bungalows and lunch.
In the afternoon accompanied by our specialized guide, we will visit the first and only place in the heart of the Madre de Dios River: Monkey Island, 5 minutes away from the hostel. During the walk we will observe extraordinary landscapes with lush flora, which covers a variety of species of monkeys in their natural habitat; like maquisapas, cappuccinos, small lion monkeys, puffins, preserves, in addition to other species such as the coatí, lazy bears, among others, and a great variety of birds. We will complete the journey through the island enjoying the sunset being the most impressive sunset in the jungle. Then we will return to the lodge and complete the day with a pleasant dinner.

After breakfast, we will start an adventure through the virgin jungle, accompanied by a local guide; We will take internment walks to reach the Cocha Perdida, which constitutes an ecosystem of shelter and food for an immense variety of animals. There is the possibility of observing otters, alligators, turtles, sachavacas, birds of multicolored plumage, the majestic jaguar and variety of fish. This area is unique and typical of the Ecoamazonia Reserve, as it is still intact, with immense swamps and various aguajales. Then we will arrive at the extraordinary AMAZON VIEW from where you can appreciate the magical jungle, also take a pleasant canoe ride around the Lake. Return to the lodge. Lunch. In the afternoon we offer optional plantation visit or botanical garden. If you want a relaxing enjoy the Amazonian Pool. Return to the lodge and dinner.
