Pick up from the hotel or bus station, heading to the Quebrada Llanganuco and appreciate the Lagoons of Chinancocha and Orconcocha, wild flora of the region, snowy Yanapaccha, snowy Huascarán and snowy Huandoy. Camp.

Breakfast. We will start the road today to Vaquería, a small village in Callejón de los Conchuchos, the most tropical part of the Cordillera Blanca. From Vaquería the trail makes a gentle descent bordering several rural houses of peasants and then begin a continuous ascent through the Gorge of Huaripampa reaching the end of it in about 4 or 5 hours. Here, between quenuales, it can be a good area to take views, further on is the Paria gorge from where you have the opportunity to appreciate splendid views of the Chacraraju (6,110 m) and Pyramid (5,880 m) hills. Camp.

From the ravine of Paria, one of the hardest days of trekking awaits us since we have to ascend to Punta Unión, a step made in the rock with a “V” shape that at 4,750 m, is undoubtedly the highest point of our trekking The Taulliraju (5,830 m) shines with the sun and watches our steps just as it did with the Incas that passed through here years ago. From the "V" open in the rock, you have a view of the entire Santa Cruz gorge and the lagoons of Jatuncocha and Taullicocha and we can get an idea of the greatness of the Cordillera Blanca. From this point, it is often possible to observe the condor, the largest bird in the Andes. From the top of the pass we can only go down the cobbled road to the valley and in less than 1 hour we will reach the camping area of Taullipampa. Camp.

From Taullipampa, the path descends through the Santa Cruz gorge and in 1 hour you reach the turnoff where the path to the base camp of the Alpamayo leaves, we can take this path that in an hour and a half of ascent will take us to the base of one of The most beautiful mountains on earth. From here we will only have to descend to Llamacorral, the last place of trekking camp.

Today we will continue trekking down to Cashapampa, from where we can contemplate the beautiful landscape that surrounds the Peruvian mountain range. At the end of the day, transfer to the city of Huaraz.
